Hello – and warm greetings from Buckingham Palace!
Firstly, M....... and I want to thank you so much for giving us both such a WONDERFUL day on the Argo III last Wednesday! It was truly the most happy and wonderful day of my life, and I enjoyed every minute of it! It was very special to be able to anchor beneath Agios Ioannis – we were so lucky with the weather! And such a fantastic lunch on board – thank you so much, Dina – it was perhaps the most delicious Greek food I have tasted! And then to see the dophins on our return, and to swim around Arco. Well, it was a truly unforgettable day. Thank you both so much for being such excellent crew and hosts!

Friday the 12.06.09 a great trip with the best 2 person crew George and Dina! We enjoyed a nice day with a lot of interesting informations about the island and there culture. The meal was greece first class also the wine on board. The boad offers big space with a lot of security equipment. My wife Karin feels good. We found two new friends on a sailing trip. Hi George & Dina, We just wanted to say thank you to you and Dina for a fantastic day out aboard Argo last Monday 22/6/09. Without doubt it was the best day of our holiday. Can't wait to come back and do it again. If you remember we had a chat about Kite surfing in Skiathos, I've had a chat today via Skype to my son James in the Dominican Republic and he was excited to have a chat to you. My name is Stewart Turner (British) and with my wife run Sapphire Yachting, The RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Sailing School and a bareboat Yacht Charter company from Skiathos Island. We have worked closely with George(Argo Yachts) for many years, and can thoroughly recommend him as a first class skipper and yacht owner. Sapphire Yachting use George regularly as skipper. His knowledge of the Sporades Islands and surrounding area is second to none. He will undoubtedly show you places and islands which other skippers have yet to find.The area is magnificent with probably the best sailing in the whole of Greece. The famous A R G O in Volos boatyard year 2007.

ARGO
The ship that bore Jason to Colchis in quest of the Golden Fleece. His shipmates were called the Argonauts in consequence. The vessel was named after its builder, the shipwright Argus. It had a magical talking prow provided by the goddess Athena, carved from a timber from Zeus's sacred grove at Dodona. The Argo barely escaped being smashed by the Clashing Rocks.
ARGONAUTS
The group of heroes who sailed with Jason after the Golden Fleece. Their name derived from their vessel, the Argo. Among them were Heracles, Orpheus and the heroine Atalanta. The Argonauts navigated between both the Clashing Rocks and the Wandering Rocks and managed to avoid the fatal allure of the Sirens.
AEGEAN SEA
The sea between the Greek mainland and Asia Minor (the Asian portion of modern Turkey). Some derive the name from King Aegeus, who in one version of the myth flung himself from a promontory into its depths. The king had arranged that his son Theseus should hoist a white sail on his return from Crete if he survived the terrors of the Labyrinth. Theseus survived but forgot to hoist the sail.
ARGUS
The shipwright who built the vessel in which Jason quested after the Golden Fleece. The ship was named the Argo after its builder, and Jason's companions were called the Argonauts after the ship. So the heroic crew that shared Jason's great adventure ultimately derived their name from Argus. The shipwright is not to be confused with the many-eyed Arcadian hero of the same name.
